It’s been a while since I’ve updated my website and I hope you all are keeping safe and well during these crazy days. I’m doing fine and have been holed up in Brooklyn for the last several weeks, social-distancing like a proper hermit. But… I have some exciting news to share and I hope this is received as a little bright spot in your inbox or social media feed : )
My new duo with Fiona McBain, called The Nine Seas, has just released our debut record! We have been singing together for over 20 years, and you may recall that we used to play under the moniker Fizz. We’ve rebranded ourselves as The Nine Seas, a nod to the fabled East Village dive bar, 9C, where we had our first gig together.
The record was co-produced by Songwriter/storyteller Jim White, and is starting to get some nice reviews in, like this one from Americana Highways, which calls it “as stunning a debut album as you could hope to hear.”
